Meet Chandra Bahadur Dangi, a 73 year old primordial dwarf from Nepal.
With a total height of 1 feet 9 inches (54.6 cm), he has officially been named the world’s smallest man according to the Guinness Book of World Records committee.
Not only is Dangi the smallest man, but he also earned himself a title of the smallest person, or human in general.
He lives in an outlying Nepal village about 250 miles (400 km) away from the capital city Kathmandu. Despite his extremely short stature, he has managed to reach the age of 73 and keep a positive attitude towards life. The title of the world’s shortest adult human has got him quite a bit of publicity, and as he has stated, he wants to use it to help promote both his village and the conuntry of Nepal. What’s interesting is that if we were to compare Dangi to the tallest man of all time, a 8′ 11” (2.72 m) giant named Robert Wadlow, he would prove as much as 5 times smaller.
